  7. Three illustrations used to create the puzzle demos are provided in EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) format. These illustrations, saved as Adobe Illustrator 1.1 files, can be opened in a draw programs (such as Illustrator, FreeHand, and Canvas) and manipulated. Or they can be placed as-is in page layout programs (such as QuarkXPress, PageMaker, and Ready, Set, Go!). EPS images can also be opened in Adobe Photoshop, but they will be converted to bitmap form. Their filenames end in .EPS.

  9. PAGE LAYOUT TEMPLATES

  11. Two page layout templates used to create the text-heavy and text-light newsletters are provided in two file formats:

  13. Ñ PageMaker: These files are saved in PageMaker Version 6 and their filenames end in .PM.

  15. Ñ QuarkXPress: These files are saved in QuarkXPress Version 3.32 and their filenames end in .QX.
